1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes the data processed by JumpTracker ("the app"), an Apple Watch and iPhone kitesurf session tracking app, and how it is used, shared and deleted.
2. Account data and rider profile
Creating an account for the community features involves collecting: your email address, your username, your optional riding level and home area, and your profile photo if you add one. This information is used to identify your rider profile within the app.
3. Session data
When you record a session with the Apple Watch, the app collects:
- GPS tracks — positions, distance covered, speed.
- Jump measurements — height, hang time, number of jumps, computed from the watch sensors.
- Session data — date, duration, associated spot.
Recorded sessions remain private until you publish them.
4. Health data (HealthKit)
With your consent, the app accesses certain HealthKit data (heart rate, calories) to enrich your workout statistics. This health data is processed on your devices and is never published to the spot feed or the rankings.
5. Spot weather
To attach weather conditions (wind, gusts, direction) to your session, the app queries a third-party weather service service with the spot coordinates. No personal data other than these coordinates is sent to that service. service météorologique tiers's processing is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Photos
You can attach photos from your library to your published sessions. They are only uploaded to our servers when you publish the session, and are then publicly visible in the spot feed.
7. Voluntary publishing and public visibility
Publishing a session is always voluntary. A published session (spot, date, measurements, weather, optional photo, username) is publicly visible to other users in the spot feed and the rankings.
You are responsible for the data you publish and, by using the app, you agree to this sharing. Do not publish content you want to keep private.
8. Storage and security
Your sessions are stored locally on your devices, and on our servers for account data and published sessions. Exchanges between the app and our servers are encrypted in transit. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
9. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. It is only shared with:
- Other users of the app, limited to the sessions you publish.

- Apple (HealthKit, App Store), according to your iOS/watchOS settings and Apple's terms.
10. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. At any time you can:
- Delete a local session from the app.
- Request deletion of a published session, a photo or your entire account by contacting support: jumptracker@shader.be.
Deleting your account erases your data from our servers, including your published sessions, within a reasonable time.
11. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data. 12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. In case of significant changes, we will inform you through the app.
